Sabor a Libertad is an indie project providing a space to highlight queer Puerto Rican and Latinx creators.

Our mission is to celebrate diversity, amplify queer voices,
create a supportive ecosystem where LGBTQ+ artists thrive,
and inspire change.

Founded (2020)

Sabor a Libertad goes online during the pandemic.

Artist Support Group (2021)

Our artist support group launches to create a collaborative network for non-binary, trans, and queer Puerto Rican artists. More creatives join, making their art available on Sabor a Libertad.

Custom Stickers & Pin Service (2022)

We introduce custom order services for queer made stickers and pins.
Designed products for Equal Love, National Minority AIDS Council and Gay Men of Color Fellowship.

More Sustainable Options (2023)

Eco-friendly apparel options that are OEKO-TEX 100 standard and Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certified are added to our catalog.
Switched to Comfort Colors for our t-shirt blanks!

In-House T-shirt Printing (2023)

Thanks to acquiring a heat press, most of our apparel is now printed in-house using DTF or screen printing methods. Our small made-to-order printing represents our commitment to reducing our ecological footprint.
